‘Love Island: All Stars’ Season 2 Premiere Ends With Major Bombshell Entering The Villa

SPOILER ALERT: This post contains details of the Love Island: All Stars Season 2 premiere episode on ITV2.

Love Island: All Stars is curing the winter blues and heating it up, bringing back into the villa favorite Islanders from the past for another shot at love.

Maya Jama returned to host Season 2 of ITV2’s dating reality competition set in South Africa and the end of the premiere saw a major bombshell entering the villa.

The new series is already packed with Islanders from the past, like Kaz Crossley (Season 4), Luca Bish (Season 8), Gabby Allen (Season 3), India Reynolds (Season 5), Nas Majeed (Season 6), Scott Thomas (Season 2), Marcel Somerville (Season 3), and Curtis Pritchard (Season 5).

But what is Love Island without a bombshell entering the villa to shake things up? That is why the first bombshell of an All-Stars season had to be major, and returning to the villa was Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

Cülcüloğlu was the Season 8 winner of Love Island UK, paired with Davide Sanclimenti. The couple was a fan favorite throughout their time on the show, and cameras followed them after their exit with the special Ekin-Su and Davide: Homecomings as they traveled to their home countries of Turkey and Italy.

“I want to return to Love Island again because it’s where my journey started and has a special place in my heart. It’s somewhere I’ve laughed, cried and learnt so much,” she said in a statement prior to her return. “The fact that there’s an opportunity to do it again – why not! Why can’t a winner go back in and re-write her story and have a second chance?! I think you should follow your gut and my gut is telling me to go back, so I’m listening to it.”

Following her time on Love Island, Cülcüloğlu went on to be a contestant on ITV‘s Celebrity Big Brother in 2024 and was also part of the cast of Peacock’s The Traitors US Season 2.

Cülcüloğlu says she doesn’t regret anything from her time on Love Island, adding, “I wouldn’t change who I am. I’m going to carry on being me. I’m more mature now and I’ve learnt some lessons along the way – I might not react the same way as I did a few years ago, or I might do! We’ll never know until I’m there.”
