‘How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies’ Studio GDH Sets Release Date For Coming-Of-Age Film ‘Flat Girls’
GDH, the Thai studio behind 2024’s record-breaking box office hit How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies, has set a February 6 theatrical release date for its new film, Flat Girls.
The coming-of-age film tells the story of Jane and Ann, two teenage daughters of police officers living in the same police flat complex where hundreds of police families reside. Despite their vastly different socioeconomic backgrounds, their bond has always been unshakable — until one day, their friendship is tested, which forces Jane and Ann to confront the meaning of love, growth and adulthood.
Flat Girls stars lead actresses Earnearn Fatima Dechawaleekul (My Sassy Princess: Cinderella, Across the Sky) and Fairy Kirana Pipityakorn (14 Again, No Romeo), alongside Pakorn ‘Boy’ Chatborirak and Namfon Pakdee.
The film is directed by Jirassaya ‘Claire’ Wongsuthin (One Year) and produced by Jira ‘Keng’ Maligool and Vanridee ‘One’ Pongsittisak, who both also produced How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies.
At a launch event in Bangkok, both lead actresses appeared onstage for a question-and-answer session and also performed a musical duet titled “Kon La Chan” (“Bound by Distance”).
Flat Girls marks the first film release for GDH in 2025, with other upcoming titles like Project Red (starring Billkin) and Beauty and the Beat set for release this year.
