Apple Martin Went Full ‘Bridgerton’ in a Custom Gown That Took 750 Hours to Make
Is it time to declare a new diamond of the season? On November 30, Apple Martin made her debut at Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris with her mother, Gwyneth Paltrow, in tow.
The 20-year-old attended the prestigious annual event, in which a group of young royals, celebrities, and socialites are introduced to high society wearing the most lavish gowns couture designers have to offer. Former debutants include Lily Collins, Ava Phillippe, and Countess Maria Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck, who opened the ball in 2023. Think of it as the real-life version of Bridgerton’s Diamond Ball.
For the occasion, Apple Martin was dressed in a custom gown designed by none other than Valentino’s creative director Alessandro Michele. According to Vogue, the six-tiered blue chiffon strapless gown took a total of 750 to complete by Valentino’s atelier.
Though Apple let her hair flow in a mother-daughter mirror selfie prior to the event, she wore her hair up for the big moment—It’s all very Daphne Bridgerton-coded, is it not? To get a true sense of the final look, click here.
